Remebot 是一款应用于神经外科的手术机器人,由三个部分组成,计算机软件系统、实时摄像头和自动机械臂,也可分别比作脑、眼、手。借助机械臂末端的操作平台,医生可以实施活检、抽吸、毁损、植入、放疗等12类术式,用于脑出血、脑囊肿、帕金森、癫痫等近百种疾病的手术治疗。

北京柏惠维康科技有限公司成立于 2010 年,是一家专业从事医疗机器人研发、生产、销售、运营的高科技公司,目前已获得相关领域十几项发明专利,十余项软件著作权和其他专利,团队目前近50人,过半是技术人员。团队曾先后承担国家 863 计划、国家科技重大专项、科技部国际合作等课题研究任务,荣获国家科技进步二等奖,在医疗机器人临床方面创造了多项国内第一纪录:第一次在国内成功应用于临床,第一次在国内实现远程手术,第一个在国内进入医保的机器人手术项目。

What is the function of Remebot?
With the assistance of Remebot, surgeons can complete frameless stereotactic operations in an accurate, efficient, and minimally invasive way. For surgery on ICH, intracerebral cyst, epilepsy, Parkinson’s Disease, and nearly a hundred of other neurological diseases, it could help surgeons to locate the target accurately. Its core technologies includes: 3D visualisation, multi-modality fusion technology in software; the perfect combination of the software and the hardware.

What are the advantages?
Values for doctors: Surgeons can observe lesions as well as the parenchyma and vascellum vividly and clearly, allowing them to plan the best trajectory for the operation; after the registration, the camera will accurately track the robotic arm as it moves to the planned targets automatically; then the surgeon could complete the procedure in a convenient and safe way. The operation takes only thirty minutes on average, and the positioning error is less than 1 millimetre.

Values for patients: It will significantly reduce the physiological and psychological burden of patients, The cut on the patient’s head is as tiny as 2 millimetres in diameter, and most patients will recover within two or three days.

Values for hospitals: Since the time of operation is reducing and patients will recover sooner, the bed turnover rate of hospitals could also rise a lot, which means more income.

How was Remebot invented?
This robotic system for neurosurgery has been developed for 18 years, with 15-year over 20000 neurosurgical experiments in OR environment. We released the the 6th generation robot in 2015, which has entered 11 hospitals in China now. Some of those hospitals are among the top 10 best in neurosurgery. The product Remebot has entered the ‘Innovative medical device special approval channel' of CFDA, and will be licensed after the clinical experiments around middle of 2017. We are also preparing for the application of CE certification. There are around 50 people in the team, and over half of them are from R&D department. The CEO Da Liu has been working on medical robot for over 18 years.
